The Omega Speedmaster “First Omega in Space” pays homage to the original Speedmaster worn by astronaut Wally Schirra during the Mercury Atlas 8 mission in 1962. This 40mm stainless steel chronograph features a sun-brushed grey dial with black subdials, red accents, and a white racing style minute track. The black aluminum bezel with tachymeter scale and polished case evoke the vintage charm of early spaceflight instruments, while the steel bracelet adds a modern touch.

The watch is powered by Omega’s Co-Axial Master Chronometer Caliber 3861, a hand-wound movement offering a 50-hour power reserve, METAS-certified accuracy and resistance to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. With sapphire crystals front and back, 50 meters of water resistance and a design rooted in space history, the “First Omega in Space” is a refined tribute to the Speedmaster legacy.
